Our Story

Like most of us, I once thought that living a healthy life would just fall into place. But for years, it didn't. Instead, I found myself stuck in a pattern of poor habits—gaining weight, feeling sluggish, and dealing with high blood pressure and insomnia. My family wasn’t much different. Fruits and vegetables were constantly being left untouched in the fridge, and I knew something had to change. But I had no idea where to start.

The Wake-Up Call

I had tried everything—intermittent fasting, low-carb diets—but nothing stuck. Each time I tried to make progress, I felt like I was falling further behind. I’d stick to my plan during the day, but by evening, temptations would win. The weekend “cheat meals” would stretch into cheat weekends, wiping out any progress I made. As a parent, I also saw my kids ignoring the healthy food I put in front of them. I knew that not only did I need to change my habits, but I needed to figure out how to make healthy food options more desirable for my family.

The Discovery

One day, I stumbled upon the documentary Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. It was a turning point. I had always been curious about juicing, but after seeing the incredible transformations, I felt like I’d found a new path. I dove deep into the world of juicing, watching influencers and health advocates share their success stories. I started experimenting with juices for myself, but more than that, I began to notice how few people around me were actually eating fruits and vegetables. The realization hit hard—our health crisis wasn’t just about what we were eating, but about how we weren’t eating enough of the right foods.

The Hesitancy

I began to incorporate juicing into my routine, slowly at first, unsure if it would really make a difference. The idea of doing a juice cleanse for 3 or 7 days seemed daunting. And while I was focused on my own health, I couldn’t help but think about how I could get my kids to drink the juices I was making. Would they even like them? Could I really turn my family into juice lovers?

The Commitment

The more I juiced, the better I felt. My energy increased, my sleep improved, and I started to see positive changes in my body. I was on the right track, but I wasn’t just doing this for me—I wanted to make fresh, cold-pressed juices accessible to everyone. So, I committed to finding juice combinations that not only nourished my body but also appealed to my kids. I wanted them to crave the juices, not just drink them when I made them.

A Small Victory

The results were undeniable. I was sleeping better, losing weight, and feeling healthier than I had in years. I shared my juices with friends and family, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. It wasn’t just about the juice—it was about how it made me feel, and how it could help others feel better too.

The Struggle

Of course, there were still challenges. Even though I was juicing daily and getting the nutrients I needed, old habits were hard to break. I still craved my favorite comfort foods like pizza and queso. And while my kids would drink the juices if I prompted them, I wanted them to enjoy it without needing to be coaxed.

The Turning Point

As I continued juicing, the cravings for unhealthy foods started to fade. I began to feel more satisfied and energized, and I wasn’t as tempted to reach for the foods I once loved. The more I perfected my recipes, the more my kids started to drink the juices on their own—without prompting.

The Transformation

I’m not “there” yet, but I’m well on my way. I’m seeing the scale move in the right direction, feeling less bloated, and feeling more energized than I have in years. But the real joy comes from knowing my family is making healthier choices. They’re drinking the juices without being asked, and others around me are starting to take notice. I feel more confident in my health journey and excited about what the future holds.
